With over 30 years of experience in visual communications, which began with a associate degree in specialized technology from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. John started his professional career as an audio visual communication artist for GE Aircraft Engine’s Marketing and Promotions department. There he gained experience in graphic design, airbrush illustrations and photo retouching for marketing and sales promotional materials.

Later he became a technical illustrator for the technical publications department. In his fifteen years as a Sr. Technical Illustrator for GE he received long lasting experience as well as extensive training on several CAD systems and computer graphic platforms which allowed him to produce highly complex 3 Dimensional illustrations of jet engines and provide graphic design support for all in-house publications.

John’s greatest side interest has always been music. He is a talented musician who has both organized and performed with numerous professional performing and recording groups over the past twenty years. His achievements in music and his interest in computer technology directed him to the foundation of House Recording Studios.



 

Understanding and appreciating the benefits of computer technology and his desire to express his artistic talent, John invested in his first video and graphic computer system in 1992 (An Amiga Video Toaster 4000). Constantly up-dating hardware, soft wear and the required knowledge to utilize new
technology, John has been utilizing his expertise to producing 2 and 3D animations, graphic designs, and digital video editing, in and around the Cincinnati Tri-state area as a free-lance visual communications artist.

 I Have been responsible for all creative development involving all facets of segment production including: writing, directing, shooting, editing, creating video graphic, 2D and 3D animations, design and layout of all printed advertising and promotional material for the popular television show NXSTV  for over 11 years. NXSTV has a viewing audience of over 1.9 million and has been recognized by proclamation from the city of Cincinnati as the premier music and entertainment show in the tri-state area and has designated March 25th as NXS day in the city Cincinnati.
